Our lactation consultants are available to help you with any breastfeeding issues you may have. They are among the most experienced in the area. Read their biographies!

A consultation usually takes one to two hours and includes:

• An examination of the baby and his mouth and tongue movements
• An examination of the mother and her breasts
• An observation of a complete breastfeeding session
• Teaching you specialized techniques for feeding (some require special equipment or breast pumps)
• Written recommendations for resolution of the problem
• Written report sent to your physician

Follow-up is essential and our consultants will call to follow your progress. Some problems require a follow-up consultations.
